libkate1-dbg software package provides Kate is a codec for karaoke and text encapsulation for Ogg (dbg), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libkate1-dbg
libkate1-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libkate1-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libkate1-dbg *
You will get with libkate1-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
